God’s Preparation?!?

Aug 14, 2008

The day after we found out I was not pregnant a friend called me and asked, "Do you have a nanny job now?"

Not long after hearing the nurse tell me I'm not pregnant and then after the hysteria subsided, my first logical thought was, "What am I going to do now to stay busy? and How are we going to keep paying for treatments?"

I had even started doubting if a negative result was God's way of saying, "No more treatments."

But then that same day we found out I'm not pregnant, the money needed for the cycle dropped in our laps. Ok, we can at least pay for one more treatment.

And then the next day, my friend called asking if I had a nanny job. She has a friend who works with her (they are Labor and Delivery nurses) and had put her children in daycare but was not happy with it at all. I decided to check this possible nanny job out as I felt God was once again at work providing for our needs. So now I have something to keep me busy and some extra income.

I went to meet the family today and Tuesday I will begin keeping Ella and Ava, 9-month-old TWINS, two days a week! This is a perfect situation as it will only be 2 days a week which will still allow me freedom to do the things I have been able to do since not working full-time.

And perhaps, He is preparing me. But then again, the preparation may have started long ago...
