Awesome!
Dec 17, 2008
I’ve basically spent the last hour sitting here reading my own blog.
I went back and clicked on August, September and October and read many of the posts I wrote while going through the three failed IUI cycles. It is so incredibly awesome to go back and read through those posts on the other side of them and see the amazing ways God worked in my life through that very dark time. Yes, those three IUI cycles certainly failed, but where it really mattered, there were no failures. Now looking back, the purpose in those cycles was not pregnancy and was instead a deeper, more personal relationship with my Lord. It can’t get better than that!
Then I moved into the posts written in November - the month of surgery. As scared as I was to be oporated on, I am forever grateful to God and Dr. L that the endometriosis is history.
And now it’s December - the month of praying for a Christmas Miracle.
Christmas Miracle or not this month, looking back on these posts, I can see many miracles, big and small, God has already performed.
The greatest miracle being the surgery when endometriosis was found and removed - for good. The simple fact God lead me to Dr. L, the only RE in J who excises endometriosis, is a miracle!
The smallest miracle is Ella and Ava. Four months ago, when I started working for this family, I had no idea just how much I needed them. Caring for them 2 days a week does my heart a world of good. God knew this and provided me a double miracle in those two baby girls.
And then there are all the miracles in between.
After rereading posts tonight from my own blog, I can see the title of this blog couldn’t be more perfect …
<div align="center">God is faithful, even through something like infertility. </div>
And this infertility journey isn’t over yet! I stand in eager anticipation of what God is going to do next.
