For some reason, it looks like two of the four incisions from my laparoscopy surgery in November are going to leave ugly scars.

My regular doctor told me last week it seems the incisions had an infection at one point but since I was using neosporin daily, I was able to take care of the infection myself. He then told me they will probably scar more than the usual laparoscopy incisions tend to.

And that is just fine with me.

Scars are a mark that tell a story of a sickness or wound and then eventual healing.

I have never been so thankful for scars in my entire life.

Because these scars on my belly tell the story of a girl who had endometriosis and had no clue that endometriosis was a huge cause of her infertility.

But now .... it is gone!
