After writing my last post I collapsed to the floor here by the computer. I had no desire to get up. I couldn’t get up.

My mom had planned to come over for a visit today and this is where she found me.

As long as I live, I will never forget what she did as she came in the room.

With a voice filled with confidence in her Lord, she walked into the room where I was laying on the floor and began rebuking Satan’s presence in our home.

In the name of Jesus Christ we rebuke Satan’s presence in this home. Satan, get out of here in the name of Jesus Christ.

Never in all my life have I actually felt Satan flee from my presence. And let me tell you, Satan did not try to stick around. He couldn’t. He had to flee.

Immediately, I could feel a difference in my mind, heart and soul.

Mama continued praying and rebuking Satan before she got down on the floor and held me.

Then she started reading Bible verses aloud. Dave, Mama and I sat and read Scripture for probably an hour.

Mama then said, “Elaine, do you not see? There are people all over praying earnestly for you.” She went over all the people groups from all over that are praying. “Satan is going to choose to work where he has the largest audiences. He knows if he can get to you, he can also affect the many people involved in your life who are praying. Why do you think Satan loves to attack pastors and see them stumble? Because he knows not only does he have an effect on the pastor, but their whole congregation.”

This is so true and Satan really is pretty stupid, if you ask me. God has already declared VICTORY over me, yet Satan does not give up in his attacks at trying to destroy my faith in Jesus Christ and the testimony God has given me through these bleak circumstances. 

Tonight absolutely nothing has changed in my current circumstances but I stand strong in the name of Jesus Christ, with a battered heart and bruised soul.

I WILL press forward in the name of Jesus Christ and persevere through His Will for my life because God will make a way where there seems to be no way. He works in ways we can not see and He will make a way for me.

My God will make a way.
