The unwelcomed visitor arrived today and for the first time in 20 months …

I don’t care.

This is certainly not to say that adoption heals all wounds infertility leaves behind.

I’m still an infertile. I’ll always be an infertile. In fact, many infertile who have achieved pregnancy still refer to themselves as infertiles.

Infertility is not something that suddenly just goes away one day.

But today as the signs drew near that the visitor was on the way …

I didn’t care.

I have never experienced the miracle of pregnancy but everyday I am realizing more and more that I am experiencing another miracle …

the miracle of adoption.

And I wouldn’t change a thing.
