Those were the words Little Bug’s nurse told me when I just called up there to get an update on how she did through the night.

Little Bug is still doing remarkably well.

She is weighing 5lbs. 8oz. now! I’m telling you … this girl LOVES to eat … just like her Daddy. She chugs those bottles down like nobody’s business!

Little Bug’s scores last night were all 3’s which is fabulous!

Pray for another wonderful day and a continued quick recovery.

To anyone out there contemplating adoption and wondering how you could possibly love a baby you did not give birth to:

It is instant love just like I can only imagine it is with a baby you give birth to.

Little Bug is my baby girl and I already feel I know her just from spending so much time with her sitting by her bedside and caring for her while she is in the NICU.

I do not look at her tiny face and think, “I did not give birth to you.”

Instead, I look at her and think, “This is the miracle God had planned all along. What a privilege it is to be her mommy.”
