We are having a wonderful time here in the mountains!

Little Bug was a wonderful little traveler! It took us 10 hours to get here (it normally takes 8) so that wasn’t bad at all.

On one of our stops I went into the bathroom with Little Bug to change her diaper.

As I was changing Little Bug’s diaper, a woman walked in with her little girl.

Woman: Oh, that is a cute little baby!

Me: Thank you!

Woman: How old is she?

Me: 7 weeks.

Woman: (Looking me up and down with a look of disbelief) YOU had a baby seven weeks ago???

Me: (Smiling with a chuckle) She is our miracle baby girl. We adopted her!

Woman: Oh, okay! I was going to say if you had a baby 7 weeks ago you need to share with the world your secret.

That isn’t the first time I’ve had that conversation with complete strangers who do not know my story! It’s kind of fun to see people’s reactions when I tell them my baby is only 6 or 7 weeks old!

Little Bug had an “off” day yesterday. I think it was a combination of traveling, being in a new environment and not having enough Mommy time from being in the car seat all day.

Today I wrapped her up in her Miracle Blanket and lay with her on the couch. We slept together for a while and then while she kept sleeping I read a book.

Just what we both needed!
