This was a conversation between Angele and her two kids, Hannah (5) and Jonah (3) in the car on the way to Jonah’s first day of Pre-K 3:

Hannah: Why does Jonah have a backpack instead of a folder?

Angele: Because 2 and 3 year olds have backpacks and 4 year olds just have a folder. Jonah is 3 so he has a backpack.

Jonah: I’m not 3! I’m 4!

Angele: Jonah, you are 3.

Jonah: No, Mommy, I’m four!!

Angele: You are THREE!!

Jonah: No, I’m four. Daddy said I was four.

Angele calls Josh on the cell.

Angele: Josh, Jonah says you told him he is 4.

Josh: What? I didn’t tell him that!

Angele: Well, here he is.

Angele passes the phone to Jonah.

Jonah: So am I four or five, I mean, am I three or four, Daddy?

Angele looking in the rear view mirror sees Jonah get a huge smile on his  face.

Jonah: I’m THREE, Mommy!

Angele (thinking in her head): So what am I???? I told you so!! :)
