In two to five weeks one of the biggest dreams of my life is going to come true!

I am going to witness the birth of a baby with my very own eyes.

Angele, who is like a big sister to me, is due to give birth in the month of October to her third child. And she and her husband, Josh, have graciously invited me to come along for the ride through the labor and delivery process.

And I am SO. EXCITED.

Apart from giving birth myself, I have always longed to actually be in the delivery room as a baby makes its grand entrance into this world. To me, there is nothing more miraculous than the birth of a baby.

To be there in person as this little girl makes her way into the world is going to be one of the most incredible experiences of my life.

I have come to accept that fact that I will most likely never be the woman in labor about to give birth to her child.

Which makes being able to experience this even sweeter.

I simply can not wait for the phone call saying, “It’s time!"
