works beautifully

One night I put Little Bug in the swing and she sat there with that serious look for a good while just looking at herself in the mirror! Eventually she drifted off to sleep!
This is how we found Little Bug after one of her naps! She had flipped herself from her tummy to her back. Now this is the “thing to do” during naptime!
Little Bug loves her grandparents! Here she is playing with her Grandpa at his birthday lunch!
Little Bug loves to suck on her washcloth during bath time!
I can’t believe my Little Bug is 4 months old! She only grows sweeter every month. She is such a bundle of joy to everyone. She is all smiles except when she is tired or hungry. I love her with all my heart and I can’t imagine life without this little ray of sunshine.
It is simply amazing how much Little Bug looks like us. I have people tell me all the time that she looks like both of us. At first I didn’t really see it, but now as Little Bug is getting bigger and bigger, I really do see myself in her.
Especially in this picture:
When I saw this picture it reminded me so much of a picture I remember seeing of myself as a baby. I will have to look for that picture next time I am at my parents’ house.
Ever since writing that post about motherly instincts I haven’t turned to any book or internet website for answers concerning the care of Little Bug. I’ve acted on my motherly instincts and it has made a world of difference.
I am Little Bug’s Mommy and I know what is best for her. Period.
It doesn’t matter what the books say or how someone else handled the same situation with their child. When something comes up with Little Bug, I just do what my motherly instincts tell me to do and it works beautifully.
