Four years ago tonight I met the crazy-haired dude in the picture below.

Seems like it’s been a lot longer than that because I have a hard time remembering what life was like pre-Dave.

But, five years ago, Dave was in college (hehe) and I was a 4th grade teacher and we had no clue that the other existed in this world.

Eight months ago tonight something else very special happened.

We received THE CALL.

The call from Little Bug’s birth mom saying she was going to the hospital.

Is it possible my Little Bug is going to be 8 months old tomorrow?

I guess so because tomorrow at 7:11am Little Bug will turn 8 months old.

It is incredibly amazing to me to see a tiny five pound newborn grow into a crawling, babbling, FULL of personality baby in less than a year. What an incredible speed of growth and development humans undergo the first year of life.

Our God is an awesome God!
