Just when I think Little Bug can’t possibly grow up any faster, she does!

Here’s what Little Bug’s been up to the past couple of months in pictures:

Little Bug no longer takes a bath in her little blue bathtub. She was too cramped in there and needed more room to play! She LOVES baths in the big bath tub now! 

Little Bug started to crawl on January 19th! It didn’t take long for her to pick up speed. And now, there is no stopping her! I love watching her explore by crawling. It is precious.

Within a couple days of learning to crawl, Little Bug started pulling up! I was shocked and so surprised that she would learn to pull up so soon after learning to crawl. She now, of course, pulls up on anything she can! It is so cute when she crawls over to her toy basket and pulls up to get a toy! 

One month shy of learning to crawl, Little Bug said her first word: “Bye! Bye!”. Dave and I were sitting on the couch and Little Bug was playing with this musical toy (which she loves). All of a sudden she said, “Bye! Bye!” Dave and I looked at each other like, “Did she really just say that??”. When she said it again, we knew we were not hearing things! As Dave left for work just a few minutes later, Little Bug said, “Bye!” as her Daddy went out the door!

Then, two days later, she started saying, “Ut Ut” for “Ut-O”!

For the most part Little Bug will only say her two words if in context. Sometimes, she will say them on command.

I wrote a post a while back saying I was looking forward to this stage because I knew it would be so much fun. I was absolutely right! It is so much fun.

She is so much fun! I love spending my days with her.
