You want to hear of the progress we’ve made?

Ok.

Little Bug now holds her bottles to drink her milk. I no longer hold the bottles for her. Yes, bottles – still.

I know. I can hardly call that progress, but I did feel like teaching Little Bug to hold her own bottles would only help in the sippy cup transition.

Little Bug is finally getting over the congestion from her cold so this week Little Bug is getting the Born Free sippy at 5pm instead of a bottle.

We shall see how that goes.

I’m beginning to wonder if I’ve goofed on this one and should have listened to my pedi and done away with the bottles as close to her first birthday as possible…

Oh well. What’s done is done. I know Little Bug one day will give up the bottle. I’m just afraid waiting so long to wean (according to my pedi) is going to make the whole weaning process harder on Little Bug (like my pedi said it would).

Once again, oh well! I’ll deal with whatever happens and rest assured that Little Bug won’t be packing her bottles when she packs for college.
