adam

This is a picture of a man from my church raising the American flag in a flag-raising cermemony on September 11th in Baghdad, Iraq.

Nine years ago today the world stood still.

I know I was literally glued to the TV for over 12 hours as I witnessed these events take place.

I remember people saying that September 11, 2001, was a day that would never be forgotten …

… and they were right.

I remember.

Very vividly.

And I am thankful for servicemen, like the one you see here in this picture, who have sacrificed time with their family (he has a wife and three small sons) to go and fight for my freedom.

Thank you to all.
