This is what my child is wearing right now.

And we are about to leave the house.

Fortunately, we are only going to Grandma and Grandpa’s house!

But … it has begun … my daughter knows what she wants to wear and verbally makes that known.

And some battles just aren’t worth fighting!

So, after I put the pants and Elmo t-shirt on her, we put on the “fishies” too.

I am sure by the afternoon (when it is warmer) Little Bug will just be wearing her fishies!

But for now, Little Bug sure is a fashion statement.

When we got to my parents’ house my mom told me she was going to go find a picture that she remembered taking of me when I was around Little Bug’s age.

It was cold outside but, that day, I apparently wanted to wear a favorite sundress.

So, my mom put my warm clothes on first and then put the sundress on over everything else.

You can see the sundress sticking out under my jacket …

Yes, Little Bug and her mommy are just cool like that.
