One month post coming soon because, today, this sweet little baby girl is ONE MONTH OLD!!

One month ago today – at 11:59pm (to be exact!) – I got a phone call from Emily saying Melody had been taken to the hospital for a c-section.

Little did we know at that time but Sweet Pea was already 4 hours old! Later we would read in medical records that Sweet Pea was given her first feed at 11:55am – right at the time Emily called! Then, at around 12:30pm, Sweet Pea was transported to a different hospital where she would be in the NICU for nine days and where we would meet her for the first time when she was two and a half days old.

And now, here we are…one month later.

Life is crazy, but life is good!

I know, if time keeps flying like it has this year, I am going to blink my eyes and we are going to be celebrating Sweet Pea’s first birthday!
