This year, we decided we were going to get a real Christmas Tree!

Little Bug was excited, as usual, as we walked around trying to find our tree. The tree man was very into Little Bug and reminded me a little of Santa.

Now that Little Bug is 2.5 years old, it is very exciting to see her understand more about the true meaning of Christmas – the time we celebrate when Jesus was born as a baby to save us from our sins.

The tree we picked! Sweet Pea was there too, by the way. She was just off to the side sleeping in her car seat.

After naptime we got started on decorating our Christmas Tree. Just like last year, Little Bug was very in to the whole process and did a very good job placing ornaments on the tree.

I enjoyed telling her about our special ornaments.

About the time we finished decorating, Sweet Pea woke up from a nap and joined in the fun! She is always ready to smile for a picture.

Someone is excited for Christmas!
