Starting with…A!
Feb 24, 2012
I’ve been saying I want to start doing some structured learning activities with Little Bug and this week, we finally got started.
We are starting with “A”. (Good place to start, right?!)
Learning with painting involved was a huge hit for Little Bug!
We are actually on week two of Scripture Memory. A child is never too young to start memorizing Scripture!
This week’s verse is: Love one another.
Little Bug thought it was the coolest thing ever to paint with paintbrushes on the paper with the Bible verse.
Then we got started on the letter “A”
She got to paint the letter “A”!
We then painted her hands green and made an alligator!
Things got crazy after that …
I turned my back for 2 minutes to get some water boiling and she said, “Look Mommy, I painted my face!”
It wasn’t long and she was covered in paint up to her elbows!
She had an absolute blast and I had so much fun watching her have fun!
(Crayola Washable Fingerpaint is the best. It was very easy to clean up.)
She has already asked me when we are going to paint again!
