I’ve gone from thinking this is a virus to thinking it is a reaction to formula to back to thinking it is a virus.

This (whatever this is) is craziness!!!

Sweet Pea had a day of about 8-9 bad diapers right before the pedi told us to put her back on 100% ready-made formula.

Next day, diapers improved. Only about 2-3 bad diapers.

That made me think it was a reaction to the formula.

But then, today, from 8:00-9:30am Sweet Pea has already had three bad diapers!! What in the world??!?

That seems more like virus to me. But, really? I have noooooooooo idea!!!!

Looking forward to the blood work results, even though that could still not give us a definite answer. At least it has the possibility of doing so.

Sweet Pea’s rash is FINALLY clearing up…some. She has traded fire red rash for open sores. I called the pedi again yesterday after the sores appeared and was given another prescription cream for that. The culture of the rash area that was taken on Monday should be back today.

And please pray this clears up. An entire week and counting of multiple diarrhea diapers a day, is NOT fun for baby or Mommy.

I guess if the diarrhea does hang around for an entire 2 weeks, like I was warned on Monday, we can be pretty sure it is a virus.
