Sweet Pea is officially a little thumb-sucker now and I think it is just the most adorable thing ever!!

For a long while now, when I would lay Sweet Pea on the bed to swaddle her (both arms) she would grab her thumb and suck but I would go ahead and swaddle her arms and just give her the paci instead.

I was a thumb-sucker for a LOOOOONG time and as a result I had horrible buck-teeth that had to be corrected with years of braces.

There is no stopping this baby from being a thumb-sucker and I can’t keep her swaddled forever. In fact, about a month ago she decided on her own (which is the way I like to make transitions with my children --- it is just way easier on everyone if transitions are made when they are ready rather than me being ready!) that she would rather not sleep swaddled.

So, now, she is officially a thumb-sucker.

And I must admit, when I lay her down for a nap and she grabs her little blanket and puts her thumb in her mouth…it is one of the most adorable things I have ever seen my girls do!

I’m not holding my breath yet, BUT…Sweet Pea had a pretty normal diaper this morning and I am HOPING this means that the diarrhea is finally GONE. We shall see what the day brings…
