This is one of my favorite holidays!

America has much to be thankful for and celebrate on this day.

Our freedom is not be taken for granted!

Little Bug’s first 4th of July. Poor thing. She was 5 weeks old and going through her withdrawals. That day proved to be too much for her and after that day we basically kept her home for about a month until her little body had more time to heal.

Every year on the 4th of July, we celebrate at Dave’s parents’ house! Family and friends gather for good food and good times together!

It was at this celebration 6 years ago today that I met Dave’s family for the very first time. So that is something else that makes this holiday special to me.

It was exactly one month from the 4th that we officially became Sweet Pea’s parents and a family of four.
