The team has seen many amazing things happen this week. One of which Dave was a part of.

Dave shared what happened on the team’s facebook page:

From Dave: Today I went street witnessing with P, R and D. On our way into the street P saw a man he had led to Christ a couple days ago. His name is Jean-Baptiste. P said hello, reminded him that they were brothers now, and we went on our way. We witnessed to the people we found along the road in their homes and shops in Canaan for about two hours, preaching the Gospel, sharing our testimonies, and praying for the people. Four people we spoke to accepted Christ during that time. We were all very excited about that.

On our way back from street witnessing, we saw Jean-Baptiste again. He waved us over to the side of the road. He had gone to gather his whole family as soon as he saw our group today, and he had them all at his home waiting for us to share the Gospel with them! P asked me to share the good news, and after I had done that they all said they wanted to pray to accept Christ into their hearts, turn from their sins, and live for the Lord! I led them in the prayer of acceptance. I had shared my testimony and presented the Gospel, but I had never led anyone to say that prayer of acceptance before. After we were finished, I looked at them and told them that they were all my new brothers and sisters in Christ! Words fall short of describing the expressions on their faces, but looking into each person’s eyes I knew their lives had been changed forever.

WOW!

My husband has seen lives changed forever this week as people have realized their need for a Savior and have surrendered their lives to Him, but I have a feeling my husband is going to come back changed too after having witnessed God at work in the lives of people right before his very eyes.

The team has also been involved in Medical Clinics.mendy

I’ve known the woman you see in this picture since I was in high school when I would sometimes babysit her children. She is the mother of four girls who aren’t so little anymore!

The man you see in this picture is the husband of Sweet Pea’s Sunday School teacher!

The Medical Team saw more than 250 people over two days.

They beg for everything. They literally have nothing. They would constantly ask us for water and food. Many of the small children I saw in their homes were completely naked. </em></p> <p><em>I think about my children back home and all of their wants. It doesn’t even begin to be in the same category as these children. They have no clothes, toys, food, or clean water. They walk long distances to get water from a community pump. They do not have wells, they water comes in on trucks.</em></p> <p><a href="/1DB25B0C4C9C4FF725BBC44D009EECCD22E13F05/images/2012/07/boy.jpg"><img style="background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; border-left: 0px; padding-left: 0px; padding-right: 0px; display: block; float: none; margin-left: auto; border-top: 0px; margin-right: auto; border-right: 0px; padding-top: 0px" title="boy" border="0" alt="boy" src="/1DB25B0C4C9C4FF725BBC44D009EECCD22E13F05/images/2012/07/boy_thumb.jpg" width="304" height="304" /></a><em></em></p> <p align="center">&#160;</p> <p align="center">The girls and I have continued to have a very good week together, but we are so looking forward to having Dave home!</p> <p align="center">I cannot wait to sit and listen to my husband tell of his experiences in Haiti.</p> <p align="center">The team leaves to come home on Saturday.</p>
