Dave and I went in Sweet Pea’s bedroom and sang Happy Birthday to her!

Then I got her dressed in her birthday outfit – the same outfit her sister wore on her first birthday two years ago!

We took Sweet Pea’s 12 month Tigger picture, had a bottle and then…

got big sister up and opened presents with Sweet Pea!!

Big sister opened the presents and little sister played with the paper!

Everyone enjoyed playing with the toys!!

And Sweet Pea LOVED the wrapping paper!!

My heart is SO FULL!!

I cannot believe I am the mother of a 3 year old and 1 year old!

(Please ignore the finger in the nose. A good picture of the two together is hard to come by and, unfortunately, this was the best one!)

After Sweet Pea’s morning nap we came over to my parents’ house where we went outside to swing in the hammock.

With my mom’s help I attempted another picture of the two girls together.

Tonight, we will have a little party for Sweet Pea with grandparents (minus Mimi and Papaw who are in Texas) and Aunt Amanda!

My Mama is making Sweet Pea a small Smiley Face cake. It will be her first taste of pure sugar – and her last – until her big party on the 11th! And then that will be her last for a loooooooong time!

First birthdays are SO fun!!
