It’s off to (pre) school we go!

Last week was Little Bug’s orientation for her preschool class!
Her first day is tomorrow!!
She is SO excited and loved exploring her new classroom.
I think this will be a very good experience for Little Bug.
It was a hard decision for me to make on whether I should send her, or not. And then once we did decide to let her go to pre-k, it was hard to decide which pre-k to send her to!
Like I’ve mentioned before, I’ve lived in this city for basically my entire life (moved here when I was two) so I have some pretty deep roots. I went to preschool at one of the preschools I considered putting Little Bug in and the woman who is now the director was my teacher.
It was a hard decision, but ultimately I chose the preschool that is in the church that my mom used to work at. The director at this preschool is one of my mom’s best friends. I knew either way, Little Bug would be in a phenomenal school.
I was a little anxious about putting Little Bug in preschool up until we went to orientation. At orientation a peace came over me and I knew this is something very positive for Little Bug and something she will greatly enjoy.
Little Bug’s teacher happens to be a woman I’ve known since I was a little girl!
After orientation we went to Target to buy Little Bug a pair of tennis shoes to wear to preschool.
We got a hotdog and popcorn treat!
Little Bug woke up today asking if it was time to go to pre-k! I told her it would be tomorrow!!
