We started V week by making a handprint vehicle. We talked about what the word “vehicle” means since that was a new word for Little Bug. She loves the Fancy Nancy books so I taught her that the word vehicle is a fancy word for car.

We identified each letter as Little Bug spelled the word “valentine”.

Little Bug traced the lines to write the letter Vv.

Little Bug matched the valentines.

Little Bug decorated the letter Vv with valentine stickers.

Little Bug painted with a vegetable (broccoli).

Little Bug did the Do-A-Dot letter Vv.

We made a Vv road with masking tape on the carpet.

Little Bug drove her vehicles over the Vv road.

Then she turned the road into a balance beam.

I must also say that on this day Little Bug woke up and said, “Mommy, can we have a pajama day today?”. I told her yes, we could. So we stayed in our pj’s until we decided to go outside after lunch! I love how it’s the little things in life that make this girl SO happy!
