Recently, Dave and I attended a conference on the book Shepherding a Child’s Heart. We were able to hear the author of the book, Tedd Tripp, speak about his book.

I am still trying to wrap my mind around the contents of this book but I will just say I highly recommend anyone who has a child under the age of 18 to read this book.

As I continue to read, re-read and study this book I plan to unpack it’s contents out onto my blog. It will be a way for me to process and understand and, hopefully it will be an encouragement to others.

I cannot say enough good about this book so I will just say that this book is built on Biblical parenting. The content of Tripp’s book comes straight from the Bible.

It goes beyond just getting children to “behave” to realizing that it is the heart that determines their behavior and therefore, I must focus on the hearts of my girls…and the positive behavior will come.

I’ll leave it at that for now…
