Right before X week we bought Little Bug a new carseat so that Sweet Pea could use Little Bug’s Britax carseat and get out of the infant carrier.

It was perfect timing because we read a book called A Box Can Be Many Things during X week and then I let the girls play in the huge carseat box.

A couple weeks later (after we knew we’d not have to ship the new carseat back for any reason), Daddy cut windows in the box for his girls and the box soon became a castle!

Then Daddy made a flag to fly over the castle!

Little Bug and Daddy colored the flag red, white and blue.

Little Bug put stickers all over her castle with her little helper.

Little Bug painted the castle with purple and blue paint.

She had a ball doing this!

She worked on her castle for over an hour, only stopping to eat dinner!

The next morning, I suggested that she eat breakfast in her castle. She thought that was a great idea!!
