Apples 2
Nov 07, 2012
Grams made an apple pie with Little Bug!! Little Bug probably ate a whole apple while Grams was getting the apples all cut up and in the bowl.
After getting all the ingredients in the mixing bowl, Little Bug was still eating apples as they poured everything into the pie plate!
Yumminess!
Enjoying her apple pie on Gram’s lap!
We learned about the parts of an apple.
We cut an apple in half so that we could find the seeds, stem, core and flesh.
Little Bug found nine seeds in this apple!
Sweet Pea had some more fun with the foam apples, Tupperware containers and the strainer.
Little Bug and Sweet Pea ate one half of the cut apple for lunch and then Little Bug did Apple Stamping with the other half!
After Little Bug was finished with Apple Stamping, she wanted to write letters with paint. She wrote the P (lower), A and O (lower) that you see on this paper! I was quite proud of her. She was not proud of herself. Can we say…perfectionist? Oh boy…
I had a talk with her and told her that her letters were beautiful and she is just learning to write her letters so they won’t look exactly like Mommy’s.
Little Bug did an Apple Size Sort.
Small, Medium and Big apples.
We read Ten Apples Up on Top! which has always been one of our favorite books to read!
I glued an old picture of Little Bug (from her 2 yr photo shoot) onto paper and then using these awesome apple stickers, Little Bug put 10 apples on her head!
Little Bug had fun doing a “A is for Apple” Do a Dot page.
