We didn’t touch our Farm activities until Saturday of Farm Week since we were at Rebecca’s house that week!

Micah and Rebecca joined us for farm activities. It made us wish (even more) that we lived in the same city so we could do homeschool together more often!

We started with a Plant and Animal Sort activity.

They worked together and put all the animals and plants in the correct box.

We read a farm book called, Who is Coming to Our House?

All the animals are getting ready for a special visitor. I asked them who they thought was coming to visit the animals. Little Bug said “A wolf!”. The ending is just adorable because they were getting ready for Baby Jesus – and you don’t know it until the very end of the book!

We spelled farm words like: pig, duck, barn & rooster.

We talked about farm animals and the products that we get from them.

We played Farm Memory!

We read Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type and Giggle, Giggle Quack. These are both excellent books.
