and praying for those who can’t

Unimaginable sorrow.

I can’t comprehend this from either a parent’s point of view or a teacher’s.

It really puts things into perspective though…

I didn’t mind at all when two little girls barged into my bedroom this Saturday morning when it was my “sleep in” day and they had apparently gotten away from Daddy.

And, when Little Bug later asked, “Mommy, will you dance with me?”, I didn’t hesitate to stop whatever I was doing and dance with my girl on the living room floor.

All we can do is pray that these families directly affected by this horrific tragedy will somehow be comforted by the truth that, one day, evil will be conquered in this world.

But, for now, my heart breaks at their broken hearts…and just days before Christmas…
