In the beginning GOD created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1

We read the creation story from The Beginner’s Bible to learn about what God created on each day.

Along with the Creation Book we made, we did a fun activity for each day too.

To learn about Day 1, we went into the master closet and closed the door so that it was completely dark in there. Then Little Bug turned on the flashlight and there was light. We talked a lot about how God spoke and there was light.

For Days 2 & 3 I handed her my camera and told her take pictures of things God created on Day 2 & 3. She loves taking pictures, we headed out to the backyard and this is what she got:

Clouds & sky! Such a pretty shot!

A plant.

Trees.

And she took a picture of these “flowers”. {Weeds!}

For Day 4, we made a mobile of the sun, moon and stars. She painted the sun and moon yellow.

She used a sponge star to make three stars. She had been dying to use these sponges I had found at the Dollar Store!

The finished product now hangs from the kitchen lights!

For Day 5, we made a bird feeder using a pinecone slathered in peanut butter!

Little Bug poured the bag of bird seed into a bowl and then rolled the pinecone in the bird seed so it would stick to the peanut butter.

Then we hung it up in the tree in our backyard!

For Day 6, we played with out plastic animals! We categorized them by wild animals, sea animal, farm animals and insects.

For Day 7, we took a nap!!!
