We have started packing!!! It is going very well…so far.

I imagined it to be “easy” since I’ve already gone through everything, weeding out stuff we no longer need or use. We know whatever is here now, goes.

Starting a week ago, we worked on the children’s books, kitchen, master bathroom and entertainment center.

Considering we had two little “helpers” we really got A LOT packed! They played in Little Bug’s room for about an hour and that was helpful.

After Sweet Pea went down for her nap, Little Bug played in some of the boxes.

We got over 50% of the kitchen packed, all the books, 75% of the master bathroom and nearly everything from the entertainment center.

Since we aren’t moving a long distance, we plan to not box everything up. Lots will just be moved by the trunk-full from its spot in this house to its spot in the new house. Hopefully that will save on packing time (and boxes!!) and yet still allow us to move in the most orderly way possible.

It was a very productive morning!!!
