A tiny bit stressed

Apr 11, 2013

I think at this point I could allow myself to feel a tiny bit stressed. Just a tiny bit.

I find it interesting how everything always happens at once in life. Like you close on a house and within DAYS a child has broken her arm, come down with a virus, other child is hacking her lungs out, husband has a self-diagnosed sinus infection, car is in shop due to something that wasn’t fixed on it after my accident back in January and we still have boxes to pack and a house to get ready to move in to. FUN TIMES!!!

Oh- and we are not selling our current house. We are going to rent it out for the time being. Yesterday (Wed) was suppose to be my “down day” where the girls and I were at home having our first “normal” day since closing last Thursday. Do you think that happened?? Of course not! We had THREE showings on the house yesterday and they were all naturally during naptime. I am grateful for the showings, but bad timing when we had been at my parents ALL WEEKEND so we could paint the house and I had left the house in tip-top shape for showings just in case we had them while we were gone! Just another thing to laugh at about this moving process.

Today is our second attempt at seeing the orthopedic doctor. Even all this is wearing on go-with-the-flow Sweet Pea. She was a very fussy baby girl last night. Poor thing. I am hoping the ortho will put her in something a little less constricting so she can not be half way wrapped like a mummy 23.5 hours a day.

In house news, the floors are coming right along. A friend’s husband is doing the floors and it has been SO nice and convenient to know we can trust him and just give him a key to the house so he can come and go as he needs without us having to be there to let him in and lock up after the day’s work! His work is AWESOME and to anyone local, we highly recommend him!!

These floors definietly are making the house look more like a warm, inviting HOME!
