ABC School with Sweet Pea {Letter Vv}
Apr 19, 2014
Sweet Pea put valentine stickers on her Letter V. She matched the letters to spell the word “valentine”. Then we played in shaving cream to make V’s and Sweet Pea made the Letter V with Wikki Stix.
We also read The Little Letter V Book a million times throughout the week!

Sweet Pea LOVED these preschool math ideas using toy vehicles I found from The Measured Mom. She sorted toy vehicles we have by color. After they were all sorted I asked her which color had the most never thinking she would actually know what I was talking about! Well, she did! She pointed and said “Red!!!”. She was right! There were three red cars and all the other colors either had one or two.

Then we played a parking lot counting game. I drew stars in the parking spaces, labeled the toy vehicles with numbers 1-10 and then we counted the stars and Sweet Pea would find the correct vehicle and park it in the spot. She doesn’t recognize her numbers much yet, but this was a great activity to practice this. She would pick a car and I would say, “No, that is number 7, find number 5!”. We would do that until she would find the correct number and then she would park it in the spot.

We made a “V Road” and drove the toy vehicles on the road! Sweet Pea decided she wanted to walk on the Letter V too.
